Modern Mystics
Modern Mystics is a personal project by Andrew Zaeh, made with members of the House of Xtravaganza, one of the most iconic houses in ballroom history. Gisele, Maximo, and Tica each chose the Tarot archetype that felt most like them: The Empress, The Magician, and The High Priestess. Shot as both stills and motion, the series treats mysticism as a real metaphor for identity and power, never a costume.

Chosen Family
The project began over dinner with creative director Pamela Buscema and grew into a set built on open collaboration, with every voice welcome. Motion runs alongside the stills to capture the presence and spirit each performer brought to the day. Modern Mystics was featured as a Photographer Spotlight on Wonderful Machine.
