Malibu, In Full Bloom
During peak wildflower bloom season, East Deck Creative headed to Malibu for a personal project built around color, texture, and a bit of nostalgia. Shot with Cailey Murphy and Arianna Barron, the concept drew inspiration from the Marc Jacobs Daisy campaigns: sun-drenched, playful, and a little bit free. We worked across formats to match that mood, capturing motion and stills on digital, VHS, and Polaroid film, letting each medium bring its own texture to the same golden hillsides.

Every Format, One Feeling
Mixing digital, VHS, and Polaroid in a single shoot meant constantly shifting how we worked: dialing in exposure for film one minute, chasing a handheld VHS frame the next. That range is the whole point of Superblooms. It's less about one polished image and more about a mood carried across formats, the kind of project EDC takes on to stay loose and keep experimenting.
